Project Runway...
so last night my sister Amy made the announcement that she is going to be trying out for the reality show Project Runway! Amy is amazing at making really radical clothes. I hope for selfish reasons that she makes it ... mainly so I can go to NYC and see her there. And I suppose it wouldn't hurt to see Heidi Klum in person although I'm sure she's nowhere near as gorgeous as Kelli! I think kelli could be a super model...

Apparently...
I am awesome. The reason being is Joe Esquibel, one of the finest artists you or I will ever know, loves me like a brother. I am even more awesome because Joe is going to work his magic man hands over a giant canvas – or piece of ply wood – just for me. If that sounded just a little homo-erotic I can't say I blame you. Anyhow, I love Joe's work and shoot... I love Joe! He is the kind of guy that everyone should get the chance to know. He's very forward and forward thinking. Two things I admire in a person especially when they are SO old! You know I'm just messing with you Joe. By the way is that orange sherbet still in Danell's freezer?
If you want to check out some of Joe's work or for pete sake just buy some of Joe's work go to the local target. Or you can google him – online you perverts – his prints are on a number of sites. Here's to you Joe!
A tip of the hat. A still from Joe's illustrations on A Series of Unfortunate Events

Great Find...
I found an old Remington Rand typewriter today and I am happy about it because I now have one cool prop for picture taking. Here's a really bad picture of it...

So now that I've found this I have decided to get some other 1940's looking pieces and put together a little period set for a shoot. I am excited about putting it all together but ... it's going to take some time I am afraid due to funds. HA!

A Great and Terrible Beauty
Recently as I was reading A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray a line from the book inspired me. The line – "You have to take whatever light you can hold with you into the dark."
Kelli is my full-time beautiful model.
